UCSD York Hall Renovation
Fast-tracked buildout of biology and chemistry labs in an occupied building.
This renovation of an existing building, which was occupied across multiple floors, involved the transformation of chemistry and biology laboratories along with their supporting areas. The project encompassed demolishing the existing space, installing new mechanical/electrical systems, conducting interior fit-out work, and addressing hazardous materials. Notably, this endeavor was carried out while the building remained occupied, and it was successfully completed within a tight timeframe of 10 weeks, with no change orders.
